Diesel tanks

OUTBACK-IMPORT provided me with tanks, replacement formain tank as well as side tanks made at LRA (Long Range Automotive). The main tank is at least 120l; each side tank is about 70l. In total 260l for a fuel consumption of 13 to 14l/100km this is theoretically a 1 850 km autonomy.

Each tank has its cap filling. The fuel is transferred to the main tank through a small pumps. The main tank has the original gauge. Side tanks have independent gauges.

I coupled reservoirs on the same side with 2 valves so that i can choose to pump in any of the side tanks. Diesel filter is placed upstream of the pump. The second pump (delivered with the second reservoir) will serve as a spare when problems arise. The same type of pump was installed to feed the reservoir of the CERA-head from the main tank.

Both electric modules were placed in the console DEFENDER.
